    Remember how some time back everyone in office focused on making fun reels? Social media lets you show off your brand\u2019s quirky, human side. Funny BTS, trending reels were all in heavy focus on reels in previous years. However, things are about to change.  Adam Mosseri, the bossman himself, mentioned on an IG Live that the Instagram algorithm is shifting to give more weight to other types of content, such as stories and regular posts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Speaking of repetitive content, Instagram\u2019s CEO Adam Mosseri himself mentioned that the platform values original content over reposted or re-shared content. Duplicated content, that carries word marks, watermarks from video editing platforms. or other platform logos will be ranked lower. Mosseri however did mention that videos created outside of the Instagram app that don\u2019t have a word mark are not affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        So make sure you remove all word marks before cross-posting a Reel on your page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Reach your customers’ DMs<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Social media gives brands the ultimate VIP access pass to their customers’ via DMs. It\u2019s a great way to interact and be there for your customers when they need you. Answer questions, solve their queries and share your appreciation! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
